Sometimes I Can Be So... Silly

I was out shopping today with my grandparents and my sister and we had to do an exchange with something my mum had bought the other day. While at the till, I was messing around with all the stuff on and around it... as you do. Among other things there were rings. So what did I do? Can you guess?

Yes, of course I put the ring on. And what did I do next?

CORRECT, I got it stuck... and it hurt! I never really think about these things before I jump in and do it really... oops! Wrong move! I was tugging and tugging at this big black ring, but it was firmly stuck on my finger. At this point I was getting just giggling, and panicking at the same time, making my face go increasingly more red... and I could feel it.

After a minute or so tugging on the ring my nan told me to relax and then it would come of easier. I left it for about 10 seconds or so and then started to twist and pull. I could feel it starting to budge so I tugged on it again. Finally, it was off... I was free! I think I am going to be more careful when trying on rings now. As much as it was funny... my finger did hurt, and plus, it was fairly embarrassing (even though barely anyone saw).

Writing this also reminded me of another jewellery related incident in involving my sister, Zoe. We were out shopping with our mum and in 2 different shops I put a necklace on Zoe, just for fun. In the second shop (either H&M or River Island, but what does that matter) the necklace got stuck. Obviously, Zoe had a bit of a panic... but it did come off.

I don't think me and jewellery have a very good relationship. It just likes to get stuck on me... or other people that I put the jewellery on. Perhaps this is a sign that I should never ever work in a jewellers. I would be a nightmare. I'd have people going in and out of A&E every day getting rings cut off their fingers or something. Either that, or the local shops would love me as I'd be buying kilos and kilos of butter to help get all the rings off of people. Although, eventually the word would get around and nobody would come to my shop and I'd only get the one off customers, mostly from naive tourist who have no idea of their fate once they enter my shop
