Sims 3: Generations - and all that jazz

You've probably guessed by now that I am a Sims 3 fan. Well actually not just Sims 3, as I like the other ones too... but I just have Sims 3.

It was made official the other day that they would be releasing Sims 3: Generations on the 31st of May and it looks fairly simple, yet I think it will be really good. It basically adds new things for each age group to be able to do.

From the trailer I can see there will be stuff like:
  • Tree houses, sandpits and dressing up stuff for the kids.
  • Pranks (which looks quite funny), house parties and graduation for the teenagers.
  • Proper weddings, hen nights and stag doos for the adults.
  • Prams and perhaps some new toys for the toddlers.
  • Outdoor water stuff for everyone.
  • And just some generally cute stuff like giving flowers for the elders.
If you're interested in seeing it for your self here is the link for the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hajq1nwsAM

Like I said before, it does sound very simple but I think it should just add some more dimension to the game so there are more interesting things that you can do with it.

It has also been leaked that they are going to do a Sims 3: Unleashed, meaning that there would be pets! This is something that so many people have been requestion ever since Sims 3 came out, as they missed it from Sims 2. I'm with them on that one because I did like having pets, although they were a tad boring sometimes. But I have no doubts that they will be better in Sims 3 as they would be able to go for walks and also, by the looks of an unofficial trailer I have seen on youtube, they will have traits just like Sims, which should be good.

I also noticed that there were different animals, other than the usual cats and dogs, such as deer, snakes, raccoons, skunks and horses (which your sims can actually ride) which should be interesting as they have never had them before. I heard that Unleashed is meant to be released in October some time so that should be good, but we shall see. I hope they are good anyway!
