I had a Free this morning with Lauren, Maddy and Tim and when in the common room Lauren pulled out a little yellow pot of bubble and started blowing them about! The rest of us obviously started jumping for the bubbles to pop them as if we were 6 year old children again. We are at heart!
It was a very nice day today so we went outside so we could blow more bubbles and I came up with the smart idea of trying to eat them... not so smart it seems! I obviously got all the bubbly liquid taste in my mouth and it wasn't the nicest thing I had ever tasted! And also for the rest of the day every time I lick my lips... I taste bubbles! And that's not good! I love bubble... just not the taste of them.
After deciding that we were a little bit weird jumping around outside, being watched by the Philosophy class, we decided to go into the common room to play a little game of cards! We kept beating Lauren which was funny (not for Lauren, but for us it was amusing seeing Lauren annoyed that she wasn't winning a single thing).
Lauren and I had agreed to take some candidates for the new PE teacher on a tour so we stopped playing cards 5 minutes before we had to leave to take them on their tour and blew bubbles instead. I decided it was fun to blow them in Maddy's face when she was eating her nutrigrain bar. Lauren was watching me do this and apparently the bottle was at a bit of an angle and I was nearly tipping it over Maddy so Lauren grabbed it to stop me spilling it... which made me drop it so it fell all over the floor and her tights.
Lauren's tights were all foamy, which was rather funny! But then our IB coordinator came in to get us for the tour and so we got Maddy to clear the rest up...
Basically, bubbles are fun... for everyone, even if you are 17...
