... to an electronic baby. But nevertheless, I am an auntie!
So my sister, Zoe, brought home the electronic baby from school today to have over the weekend. It's one of the ones where you have to feed it, change it's nappy, burp it, rock it and support it's head!
Not one of these ridiculous ones from my school where you have to stick a plastic key in it's back, turn it, and wait for it to coo. Very realistic - not! I mean it doesn't really teach you much about what you have to do for a baby but never mind it was a bit of fun and I quite enjoyed it!
Zoe is the last person in the class to have it for the first time but one of her friends asked for it again so she was going to have it on a harder setting! However... Zoe and her friend's might have been mixed up as Zoe's has cried 5 times between 8 and 9 and her friend's has only cried 3 times since she got it! By the last time Zoe was getting a bit annoyed so she made it chime and then handed me the baby and the bottle... yay! I quite enjoyed sitting with it on my lap, resting it's head on my knee and holding the bottle to it's mouth.
I think Zoe is in for a bit of a sleepless night if that happens later but hopefully it won't be too bad but I have told her that if she is really struggling she can come and wake me up so I can sit with her or something! I'm such a loving sister. I also have to go with her to her physio appointment tomorrow to babysit just in case it goes off there so that should be fun... babysitting a plastic baby...
I reckon I would make a good auntie actually! AND my friend Amy says that when she has children then I can be the fairy godmother!!!! How exciting! I reckon I'd be the best... I'd even buy a tutu, crown and a wand so I could really play the part properly! I reckon I'd look pretty good ;)
